If you believe in our mission, there are several ways you can help. We accept physical donations as donations of your time. Thank you in advance for your support.
Donations
If you want to make a donation while simultaneously cleaning out your own garage, here are things we constantly use:
- Repurposed (Old) Items:
- nuts, bolts, washers
- horseshoes
- sheet metal
- metal bed frames
- metal chains
- metalworking tools
- oxygen cylinders
- fire extinguishers
- heavy duty steel
- aluminum plate
- welding jackets
- leather aprons
- stencils (words or objects)
- New Items
- Dremel attachments (grinding & cutting bits)
- 4 1/2″ cutoff wheels, flap disks & grinding disks
- metal stamps
- metal clamps
- granola bars or other snacks (charter high school kids eat a LOT of food each day!)
If you are interested in making a monetary donation, please know that ALL money raised goes right back into equipment, safety gear and tools that allow us to teach kids & adults how cool it is to cut and weld hot steel!
Please note: at this point we are not a 501c3 so donations will not be tax deductible.
Volunteering
If you have some building, fabrication or metalworking skills and some free time, stop on by and check us out. You might decide to spend a few hours each week working with the charter high school students we teach each weekday morning. You might choose to help with the woodworking portion of a table we are creating. Or, maybe you could serve as one of our mentors when we do a community event for youth.
