What if you took a steel object (large or small) and smashed it with a 75lb power hammer? Imagine Thor’s hammer at the end of an arm that doesn’t get get tired. Then we used that crazy smooshed piece as the focal point of a piece of wall art, yard art or anything else you imagine. What could be better than that, you ask? You control the the smash *and* get to weld!
Notes:
1) Jeans and closed-toe shoes are required. (Tank tops or t-shirts are acceptable on top as you will wear safety gear when working.)
2) You will be provided with a face shield, safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection for the power hammer part; you will be provided a welding helmet, welding jacket and leather gloves to be used for the welding portion.
3) We will provide the object to be smashed, unless you have a specific non-biological object in mind.
4) This class is co-ed. Children are permitted. Children under the age of 14 must register with an adult.
