You’ve seen them at airports and craft shows… those adorable little dogs made out of springs, sprockets, nuts & bolts. Choose from a variety of springs and assorted bits to make your own miniature wiener dog sculpture that fits in the palm of the hand. Guaranteed not to piddle in your living room or get sick in your car on the way home.
First, choose the spring that best represents the dog you want to build. Second, decide the size & height of the legs. Then, define the face. Also, decide what type of ears and tail your dog wants. Finally, weld your dog in whatever whimsical pose makes you both happy.

- ALL classes begin with safety. As such, all safety gear is provided including safety glasses, welding jackets, gloves and welding helmets.
- If you prefer, bring your own custom safety glasses (Rx or otherwise) that fit you perfectly.
- Not only for your safety but also for the safety of others, we limit this class to no more than 16 people.
- This class is co-ed.
- Children can register! So far, we have taught kids as young as 5 years old, however, only you know how mature your child is. (If you have a mature child under the age of 8, please contact us so we can discuss the possibility of participation.) Children under the age of 12 must have an adult present.
- WHAT TO WEAR: jeans, cotton t-shirt/tank top and closed-toe shoes. Although tennis shoes are permitted, leather shoes or boots are preferred. Despite how comfy they might be, absolutely no sandals are permitted. In order to prevent lower extremity burns, please completely cover your feet and ankles. No shorts or capris.
