Enjoy a unique mother and child bonding experience, just in time for Mother’s Day! Moms and kids work together to create a metal sculpture to cherish for years to come. Rather than threading a macaroni necklace or making pasty paper mâché cookies, sew with fire while bonding with family.

DETAILS
First, gear up and participate in a safety briefing. Second, try out MIG welding (GMAW) and plasma cutting (PAC). Next, each mother and child team decides what to create together. Finally, everyone leaves with a unique project!
- First, ALL classes begin with safety! Learn about welding safety, plasma cutting and GMAW (MIG) welding. Demonstrations and practice time provided.
- Up to 12 mother and child pairs are permitted so that each team gets the attention they need.
- Use our stuff! We provide all safety gear including safety glasses, welding jackets, gloves, welding helmets and hearing protection.
- FYI: if you already have your own safety glasses that fit you perfectly, you are welcome to bring them.
- WHAT TO WEAR: jeans, cotton t-shirt/tank top and closed-toe shoes (boots preferred; tennis shoes are OK; no sandals). Please ensure ankles and feet are completely covered.
- Water & light refreshments provided.
ADDITIONAL INFO
Along with the $90 registration fee per mother and child team, all class materials are included as well as use of all safety equipment. [Also, additional children are allowed. Please let us know in advance; the cost of each additional child is $25. We accept cash, check, Zelle and credit card.]
