What better way to celebrate National Farm Animal Week than to learn some basic welding to create your very own farm animal!
This very introductory class will teach children about basic welding safety and GMAW (MIG, aka wire welding). After a bit of practice, kids will select a pre-cut farm animal design to weld together. Parents: wanna know the best part? There won’t be any farm smells or care/feeding expenses for this miniature new addition to your family!
- This class is co-ed.
- We have all of the safety gear you will need. That said, you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
- Please wear closed-toe shoes (leather boots are best), cotton pants that cover your ankles (jeans are best) and a 100% cotton t-shirt or tank top.
- Children ages 8-17 may register for this class. If you have a mature child who is younger than 8, feel free to contact us to discuss possibilities.
- Water and healthy snacks are provided.
