Join us for a few hours of fun to help support a local business. Serenity Yoga has been our go-to introducing interns, friends, family and total strangers we meet on the street to the benefits of stretching and relaxation. (No, you do not have to weld in any weird yoga pose like bowtie or the ones where your foot is tucked behind your head in half-handstand position. Lol.) We will start this co-ed class with a 15-minute chair yoga session to set our intention for the evening.* We will then move into the shop for a safety briefing. After an introduction to MIG/wire/GMAW welding, you will create a desktop yoga figurine of your very own. The best part? You will help a local business support another local business: Weld Like A Girl™ will donate all proceeds from this evening’s class to help Serenity Yoga offset losses due to COVID-19.
Check out https://www.serenityyogayuma.com/ to see class schedule, description and other services.
Reserve your spot now! On February 26th, come dressed in jeans that cover your ankles and closed toe shoes (boots are best but tennis shoes will do)… we’ll handle the rest. We have all the safety gear (welding jackets, welding helmets, leather gloves, safety glasses, etc.) you will need to have a safe, enjoyable experience.
We have taught as old as 5 years and as young as 88. If you would like to bring a child under the age of 8, please call us to discuss possibilities. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered for this class.
Water, tea, coffee, hot cocoa and light refreshments will be on hand. Extra credit given to everyone who attempts downward facing dog.
