SUMMARY:Youth Confidence Welding Class
DESCRIPTION:\nOctober 20th is National Youth Confidence Day! Please help us
  celebrate this important day by sending your kids to Weld Like A Girl to 
 experiment with GMAW (MIG welding). Participants will make a small project
  to take home.\n\n\n 	ALL classes begin with safety! Participants will be 
 taught about welding safety\, blacksmithing and GMAW (MIG) welding. Demons
 trations and practice time are provided. \n 	We provide a small group sett
 ing of usually no more than 12 people so that everyone can get the individ
 ual instruction and attention they need.\n 	This class is co-ed.\n 	Childr
 en are permitted to register\; so far\, we have taught kids as young as 5 
 years old but only you know how mature your child is. (If you have a matur
 e child under the age of 8\, please contact us so we can discuss the possi
 bility of participation.) Children under the age of 12 are asked to regist
 er and participate with an adult.\n 	We provide all necessary safety gear:
  welding helmet\, welding jacket\, safety glasses\, welding gloves\, black
 smithing sleeves.\n 	WHAT TO WEAR: jeans\, cotton t-shirt and closed-toe s
 hoes (leather shoes or boots preferred\; tennis shoes are OK\; no sandals)
 \; please ensure ankles and feet are completely covered T-shirts or tank t
 ops are fine as you will be wearing a welding jacket on top.\n 	Water\, te
 a and light refreshments will be provided.\n\nIf you are a member of the m
 ilitary (active duty or retired) or a first responder\, please contact us
