DESCRIPTION: SPOON ART\n\nThis co-ed class allows participants to create ar
 twork out of upcyled (a.k.a “retired”) flatware (a.k.a. spoons\, forks
  &amp\; butter knives). Two projects will be highlighted (a person &amp\; 
 a butterfly)\, although free play is allowed. If you have specific utensil
 s you want to work with\, feel free to bring them. Otherwise\, flatware wi
 ll be provided. No welding experience necessary.\n\n 	ALL classes begin wi
 th safety! Participants are taught about welding safety\, plasma cutting a
 nd in this case GMAW (MIG) welding. Demonstrations and practice time are p
 rovided. \n 	We provide a small group setting of usually no more than 12 p
 eople so that everyone can get the individual instruction and attention th
 ey need.\n 	We provide all safety gear including safety glasses\, welding 
 jackets\, gloves\, welding helmets and hearing protection.\n 	WHAT TO WEAR
 : jeans\, cotton t-shirt and closed-toe shoes (boots preferred\; tennis sh
 oes are OK\; no sandals)\n 	Water\, tea and light refreshments will be pro
 vided.\n
