SUMMARY:Shadow Lights Landscape Art
DESCRIPTION:\n\nCreate standing\, lighted landscape art out of upcycled mat
 erials. You will plasma cut and weld shapes to be illuminated on your lawn
  or in your garden by low-voltage or solar lighting. Landscape art and inc
 luded lights are intended for outdoor use due to the nature of the lightin
 g\; however\, these shadow sculptures may be used inside if alternate ligh
 ts are used. No previous welding or cutting experience necessary. (This cl
 ass is co-ed.)\n\n 	ALL classes begin with safety! Participants will be ta
 ught about welding safety\, plasma cutting and GMAW (MIG welding) . Demons
 trations and practice time are provided. \n 	We provide a small group sett
 ing of usually no more than 8 people so that everyone can get the individu
 al instruction and attention they need.\n 	We provide all safety gear incl
 uding safety glasses\, welding jackets\, gloves and welding helmets.\n 	Ch
 ildren are permitted to register\; so far\, we have taught kids as young a
 s 6 years old but only you know how mature your child is. (If you have a m
 ature child under the age of 7\, please contact us so we can discuss the p
 ossibility of participation.) Children under the age of 14 are asked to re
 gister and participate with an adult.\n 	WHAT TO WEAR: jeans\, cotton t-sh
 irt and closed-toe shoes (boots preferred\; tennis shoes are OK\; no sanda
 ls)\; please ensure ankles and feet are completely covered.\n 	FYI: if you
  already have your own safety glasses that fit you perfectly\, you are wel
 come to bring them. Otherwise\, we provide standard ANSI-approved safety g
 lasses that are yours to take home.\n 	Water\, tea and light refreshments 
 will be provided.\n 	In this class\, a sample of low-voltage and/or solar 
 lighting will be provided to be placed inside your sculpture.\n\nPlease ca
