SUMMARY:Shadow Lights Landscape Art
DESCRIPTION:\n\nDuring this cool class we will create standing lighted land
 scape art out of upcycled materials. Participants will plasma cut (and pos
 sibly weld) shapes to be illuminated on a lawn garden by solar lighting. L
 andscape art and included lights are intended for outdoor use due to the n
 ature of the lighting\; however\, these shadow sculptures may be used insi
 de if alternate lights are used. No previous welding or cutting experience
  necessary. (This class is co-ed.)\n\n 	ALL classes begin with safety! Par
 ticipants will be taught about welding safety and plasma cutting . There i
 s minimal (if any) welding involved in this project. Demonstrations and pr
 actice time are provided. \n 	We provide a small group setting of usually 
 no more than 10 people so that everyone can get the individual instruction
  and attention they need.\n 	We provide all safety gear including safety g
 lasses\, welding jackets\, gloves and welding helmets.\n 	FYI: if you alre
 ady have your own safety glasses that fit you perfectly\, you are welcome 
 to bring them. Otherwise\, we provide standard ANSI-approved safety glasse
 s that are yours to take home.\n 	Children are permitted to register\; so 
 far\, we have taught kids as young as 5 years old but only you know how ma
 ture your child is. (If you have a mature child under the age of 7\, pleas
 e contact us so we can discuss the possibility of participation.) Children
  under the age of 14 are asked to register and participate with an adult.\
 n 	WHAT TO WEAR: jeans\, cotton t-shirt and closed-toe shoes (leather shoe
 s or boots preferred\; tennis shoes are OK\; no sandals)\; please ensure 
 ankles and feet are completely covered- no capris.\n 	Water\, tea and ligh
 t refreshments will be provided.\n 	A solar light will be provided to plac
 e inside your sculpture.\n\nCost: $70/person (includes necessary materials
 \, as well as the use of all safety gear and tools)\n\nPlease call\, e-mai
