SUMMARY:Scrapbuster Metal Quilt
DESCRIPTION:\n 	uhmagosh... what a cool way to use scrap metal than to foll
 ow the wisdom of quilters around the world? No scrap left behind... we wil
 l weld together bits of scrap sheet metal to form a square/rectangle. If y
 ou like what you've got\, you can build a frame for it. If not\, you can t
 ake your "quilt" and plasma cut a shape out of it. Either way\, you go hom
 e happy\, knowing you have used your (metal) fabric to its fullest potenti
 al.\n 	ALL classes begin with safety! Participants will be taught about we
 lding safety\, plasma cutting and GMAW (MIG welding). Demonstrations and p
 ractice time are provided. \n 	We provide a small group setting of no more
  than 12 people so that everyone can get the individual instruction and at
 tention they need.\n 	We provide all safety gear including safety glasses\
 , welding jackets\, gloves and welding helmets.\n 	This class is co-ed.\n 
 	Children are permitted to register\; so far\, we have taught kids as youn
 g as 5 years old but only you know how mature your child is. (If you have 
 a mature child under the age of 7\, please contact us so we can discuss th
 e possibility of participation.) Children under the age of 14 are asked to
  register and participate with an adult.\n 	WHAT TO WEAR: jeans\, cotton t
 -shirt and closed-toe shoes (leather shoes or boots preferred\; tennis sho
 es are OK\; no sandals)\; please ensure ankles and feet are completely cov
 ered.  T-shirts or tank tops are fine as you will be wearing a welding ja
 cket on top.\n 	FYI: if you already have your own safety glasses that fit 
 you perfectly\, you are welcome to bring them. Otherwise\, we provide stan
 dard ANSI-approved safety glasses that are yours to take home.\n 	Water\, 
 tea and light refreshments will be provided.\n\nPlease call\, e-mail or me
