SUMMARY:Petal to the Metal: Roses Class (1:30pm - 6pm)
DESCRIPTION:\n\nCreate a small bouquet of steel roses through various black
 smithing\, cutting &amp\; welding techniques. Hammers\, anvils\, plasma cu
 tters\, MIG welders\, etc. will be singing today as you forge your very ow
 n long-stemmed roses! Participants will have the opportunity to create mul
 tiple roses to arrange in a bouquet or place in long stemmed rose boxes (b
 oxes provided).\n\n\n\n 	ALL classes begin with safety! Participants will 
 be taught about welding safety\, blacksmithing\, plasma cutting and GMAW (
 MIG welding). Demonstrations and practice time are provided.\n 	We provide
  a small group setting of usually no more than about 12 people so that eve
 ryone can get the individual instruction and attention they need.\n 	We pr
 ovide all safety gear including safety glasses\, welding jackets\, gloves 
 and welding helmets. [If you already have your own safety glasses that fit
  you perfectly\, you are welcome to bring them. Otherwise\, we provide sta
 ndard ANSI-approved safety glasses that are yours to take home.]\n 	This c
 lass is co-ed.\n 	Children are permitted to register\; so far\, we have ta
 ught kids as young as 5 years old but only you know how mature your child 
 is. (If you have a mature child under the age of 8\, please contact us so 
 we can discuss the possibility of participation.)  Children under the age
  of 12 are asked to register and participate with an adult.\n 	WHAT TO WEA
 R: jeans\, cotton t-shirt and closed-toe shoes (leather shoes or boots pre
 ferred\; tennis shoes are OK\; no sandals)\; please ensure ankles and feet
  are completely covered. T-shirts or tank tops are fine as you will be wea
 ring a welding jacket on top.\n 	Water\, tea and light refreshments will b
