SUMMARY:Build-A-Journal
DESCRIPTION:Create your own sheet metal journal\, complete with paper ready
  to record your thoughts &amp\; dreams. Participants will use a plasma cut
 ter to create designs in sheet metal to create a front and back cover to t
 heir own personal journal/notebook. If desired\, other metal designs may b
 e welded onto the cover(s). Paper and binder loops will be provided. (This
  class is co-ed.)\n\n 	ALL classes begin with safety! Participants are tau
 ght about welding safety\, plasma cutting and in this case GMAW (MIG) weld
 ing. Demonstrations and practice time are provided. \n 	We provide a small
  group setting of usually no more than 8 people so that everyone can get t
 he individual instruction and attention they need.\n 	We provide all safet
 y gear including safety glasses\, welding jackets\, gloves\, welding helme
 ts and hearing protection.\n 	WHAT TO WEAR: jeans\, cotton t-shirt and clo
 sed-toe shoes (boots preferred\; tennis shoes are OK\; no sandals)\n 	Wate
 r\, tea and light refreshments will be provided.\n
